UMS stage ENHANCED SAFETY measures:
Hand sanitizer at all bars, venues, and in green rooms
Additional handwashing stations have been added to our outdoor stages
Bathroom maintenance has increased
Vaccines + NEGATIVE TESTS Rock
UMS strongly encourages vaccines as the most effective protection against COVID, but will not require them this year. If you are unable to get vaccinated, making sure you don’t have COVID by taking a test at home before joining us is hugely appreciated, but also not required this year.
Masks Rock
Masks will not be required for guests at UMS, but are encouraged for indoor spaces, and for those who aren’t vaccinated.
UMS Venues & Partners
All UMS staff and on-site vendors will also comply with these guidelines. Venues are independently operated, as well as a lot of the adjacent businesses on Broadway, and therefore have the ability to enact further guidelines or rules that apply to their establishments. Please support them, and follow any more specific rules they have around masks or social distancing.
UMS Fan Health Pledge
We ask that you not attend if any of the following is true for you or anyone in your party:
Within 10 days before attending the festival you have tested positive, or been exposed to someone who has tested positive for, COVID-19;
Within 48 hours prior to attending the festival, you have experienced symptoms of COVID-19 (e.g., a fever of 100.4F or higher, cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, chills, repeated shaking muscle pain/achiness, headache, sore throat, loss of taste or smell, nasal congestion, runny nose, vomiting, diarrhea, fatigue or any other symptoms associated with COVID-19 identified by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention);
Within 10 days prior to attending the festival, you have travelled to any international territory identified by federal or applicable state or local governments as being subject to travel or quarantine advisories due to COVID-19.
